About Nigel
Being part of a wedding is something that I enjoy more than anything. I retired from a career in policing so I could continue to involve myself in positive and rewarding ventures. The number of weddings I’ve performed and the measure of success are only determined by you and the couples I can put you in contact with. However my satisfaction and enjoyment lasts a lifetime.
I also provide ceremonies for civil unions and any same gender or non-binary weddings. When it comes to celebrating any commitment "beginning, middle or end of life" I feel it's a real honour to part of the process.
My focus is not on price but the service that I can provide to you and if you’re happy then I have provided you both with more than money can buy. I enjoy any setting and my most memorable wedding has been on a beach in Golden Bay where we erected a stage from driftwood and the setting was unbelievable.
I am very relaxed to work with because I can be. I don’t charge on the number of meetings or consultations and will spend as much time as necessary to ensure that the couple I work with are both happy with the service and comfortable with me delivering it for them.
You will see from my pictures that I enjoy the outdoors so if you want to get married at the end of a sporting event or in the Botanical Gardens, or in your own home then that will suit me fine. Traditional indoor ceremonies are also enjoyable and I have performed ceremonies in golf clubs, rugby clubs or my most recent venue was the beautiful Otanerito Bay on Banks Peninsula.
